Huawei has officially revealed the Huawei Mate 80 series design and launch date, creating strong excitement among smartphone users. The brand confirmed that the lineup will launch in China on November 25, 2025, together with the Huawei Mate X7 foldable device. Pre-orders for all Mate 80 models have already begun through Huawei’s Vmall online store.
Huawei Mate 80 Series Design and Variants
The announcement of the Huawei Mate 80 series design and launch date highlights four new models, including the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and the Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design. The entire lineup arrives with refreshed camera modules, new color choices, and improved premium styling.
The Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro share a similar appearance, featuring a circular rear camera module with three sensors, including a periscope telephoto lens. On the front, both phones come with dual cameras that support 3D face unlocking. Color options include Dawn Gold, Obsidian Black, Snowy White, and Spruce Green. Storage and RAM choices include 12GB with 256GB, 12GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 512GB, while the Pro model also includes a 16GB with 1TB option.
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max follows as the upgraded version of last year’s Mate 70 Pro+. This device comes with a quad-rear camera system featuring dual periscope telephoto units. It also includes dual front cameras and is available in Polar Night Black, Polar Silver, Polar Day Gold, and Aurora Blue. Storage options include 16GB with 512GB and 16GB with 1TB.
At the top of the series is the Mate 80 RS Ultimate Design. This model stands out with a unique octagon-shaped camera layout and a luxury-inspired appearance. It features 20GB RAM paired with either 512GB or 1TB of storage. The color options for this model are Dark Black, Pure White, and Hibiscus.
With the Huawei Mate 80 series design and launch date now confirmed, users can expect upgraded performance, improved design elements, and a premium flagship experience across the lineup.
