Exciting news for tech enthusiasts! OnePlus is set to unveil two new devices tonight: the highly anticipated OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2. The launch event is scheduled for 7 PM IST, with the company also introducing an ‘Ace’ variant of the OnePlus 15R, subtly marked by its inscription on the phone’s back.
The forthcoming OnePlus 15R is positioned to appeal to the premium segment of the market, offering top-tier features. Complementing this, the new OnePlus Pad Go 2 aims to provide an accessible option for budget-conscious consumers, including students and young professionals looking for a capable tablet.
OnePlus has proactively shared key specifications for both devices, building anticipation. While most features are confirmed, specific pricing and available variants are still under wraps.
OnePlus 15R: A Premium Powerhouse
The OnePlus 15R is set to impress with its camera capabilities, featuring a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus that supports 4K video recording at up to 30 frames per second. The main camera system is equally robust, capable of recording stunning 4K video at an impressive 120 fps. It’s expected to house a 50MP main sensor alongside a telephoto lens.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15R will boast a 1.5K AMOLED display with a blazing-fast 165Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, complemented by a G2 Wi-Fi chip. For performance, it’s likely to be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and offer storage options up to 512GB.
Battery life is another area where the OnePlus 15R is expected to shine, with a substantial 7,400 mAh battery. It will also support rapid charging, shipping with an 80W in-box charger.
In terms of aesthetics, the OnePlus 15R will be available in Charcoal Black and Mint Green. The special Ace Edition will come in a striking Electric Violet color.

OnePlus Pad Go 2: Affordable Versatility
On the tablet front, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor and will include a stylus in the bundle, enhancing productivity and creativity.
The display is a key highlight, featuring a 12.1-inch screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio. It promises a bright viewing experience with 900 nits of brightness, covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and offers an impressive 88.5% display-to-body ratio.
Further enhancing its multimedia capabilities, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 will support Dolby Vision. It also integrates OnePlus’s Open Canvas software, designed to improve multitasking by enabling split-screen mode and seamless switching between multiple windows.
The tablet is equipped with a large 10,050 mAh battery, supported by 33W fast charging. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is scheduled to go on sale starting December 18.
In terms of pricing, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is expected to be priced competitively, with starting prices anticipated to range between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000.
With these two new releases, OnePlus is clearly aiming to strengthen its presence across different market segments, from high-end smartphones to affordable tablets, offering compelling options for a wide range of consumers.
