Tragically, seven — including three men, two women, and two minor girls — succumbed to their injuries during treatment, while the lone survivor, 27-year-old Hasibul from Murshidabad, West Bengal, is undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital’s trauma centre. The back-to-back collapses have intensified calls for urgent safety checks on vulnerable structures during the monsoon.
